About Sue

In my over 30 years of experience as a teacher and therapist, I repeatedly see beautiful results working with the mind-body connection. Through my common-sense, body-centered approach I facilitate connection and healing so you can live your life with grace and ease.

I am a fun loving, life-long learner who is inspired by meeting and working with people from all walks of life. Through extensive travel I’ve gained helpful skills, including listening and curiosity. When I’m with you I’m fully present and listen deeply for what is called for in the moment so you can learn how to live your best possible life.

Drawing upon my extensive training, and vast life experience, I will help you recognize your innate ability to access wisdom and healing. I bring a relaxed, loving, and compassionate spirit into my work while helping you find graceful solutions. When I meet with you, I look towards your health, towards what is working. This is a powerful way to transform your issues.

I was raised in the Midwest, and studied art and dance both at home and abroad. Through the trials and tribulations of my marriage and family relationships, my interest in psychology was piqued. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years teaching at the college level, and learned how much I love working with people that age. I also have taught yoga for the last 30 years so I have a depth of understanding and extensive experience working with the mind-body connection.

I live in the mountains of Santa Barbara with my partner and our dog. When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy teaching yoga, hiking, swimming, traveling and cooking. I collect black and white photography and frequent art shows and museums.
